Acceptable Evaluation Agencies For Transcript Evaluation
FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION
Applicants for the DMC-University Laboratories Cytotechnology School who have earned university credits outside the United States must have those credits evaluated by an accrediting agency before the application can be considered. A list of acceptable agencies is provided below. Please check the ASCP Board of Registry website (http://www.ascp.org) for an updated list and additional agencies. Their fees range from $100 to $150 and are subject to increase at the discretion of the individual agencies.
When requesting this service, you must ask for a detailed evaluation of your course work. There are usually two types of reports: general and detailed. The general report will only state that your education is or is not equivalent to an U.S. Baccalaureate or Masters degree. The detailed report provides a breakdown of credit hours completed on a course-by-course basis, with grades listed for each course. Please have the agency forward an official copy of their evaluation directly to this program. The agency will send you a copy as well. Evaluations take approximately 6-8 weeks. We must have their evaluation report prior to being considering for the program.
